SALT LAKE CITY — One person was arrested after police said gunshots rang out in a Taylorsville neighborhood Tuesday night, leading to a shelter-in-place order that has since been lifted.

Taylorsville City Police Department said it received reports of gunshots being heard in a home’s basement on Dee Park Drive. When officers arrived at the scene, they said they could also hear gunshots being fired.

According to police, the tenants upstairs in the house were evacuated. One person was arrested in connection with the incident.

No injuries were reported at the scene of the shooting.
