Man dies after crash with semitruck in Utah County

SALT LAKE CITY — A man died on Sunday after a crash on US 6 in Utah County around 4:40 p.m.
Lt. Cameron Roden with the Utah Highway Patrol said the man who died was the driver of a Ford truck that was hit by a semitruck.
Roden said the man lost control of the vehicle while driving eastbound, spinning into the westbound lanes where he was then struck by the semi.
The man died at the scene of the crash and the driver of the semi had minor injuries, according to Roden.
“We are investigating the cause,” Roden said. “Roads were wet at the time.”
