SALT LAKE CITY — Coming out of a hot June, forecasters say Utah could see some triple-digit days in July.

This June was the ninth hottest on record and KSL Meteorologist Matt Johnson said with how hot we have already started in July, the trend will likely continue.

“What we’re also seeing is that temperatures will likely ride above normal through most of the month,” Johnson said.

Johnson said overnight temperatures are unlikely to go below 64 degrees.

The majority of the heat will be up north, but Johnson said most of central Utah will also have above-average temperatures for the month.

“You can definitely count on your AC unit having to work overtime for this month and plan on a hot July 2025.”

Stay up to date with KSL’s forecast.
