Roosevelt Elementary School construction site damaged by suspected vandals

WASHINGTON TERRACE, Weber County — The Weber County Sheriff’s Office said a group of people broke into Roosevelt Elementary School and caused thousands of dollars in damage.
They are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspects.
In a Facebook post, Weber County officials said a group of people broke into the new Roosevelt Elementary School in Washington Terrace, “in the early hours of June 5, 2025.”

The school is under construction.
Roosevelt Elementary damage could reach into the thousands
Damage inflicted on the building could reach into the thousands of dollars, the Weber County Sheriff’s Office said. That office is offering $500 reward for information that leads to arrest and prosecution of those responsible.
