Vegetation fire starts in Orem

SALT LAKE CITY — Orem Fire Department responded to a fire on Sunday evening that was roughly 50 by 50 feet large.

Shaun Hirst Asst. Chief with Orem Fire said no structures were affected by the fire located in the area of 800 W 700 South, and the fire was put out quickly.

No injuries were reported at the scene of the fire, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to Hirst.
