SALT LAKE CITY — Sandy police confirmed Tuesday morning that a missing 12-year-old girl was found.

The girl went missing near 8600 South 700 East in Sandy.

Missing girl found safe

The Sandy Police Department made the announcement via Facebook and said she was back home with family. No other information about the case was given.
