Police respond to a homicide in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah- Personal Investigation Officers are on the scene of a homicide Wednesday. The homicide occurred on the corner of Harrison Avenue and Main Street in Salt Lake City.
KSL NewsRadio’s Kelli Pierce confirmed the deceased is a middle-aged man. Police arrived when reports of gunshots came flooding in.
The middle-aged man was shot in the middle of the street around 5:30 PM. He died shortly after due to his gunshot wound. Salt Lake City Police Department is currently investigating the suspect, or suspects.

There is no danger to the public according to police. Salt Lake City Police Department is currently asking the public to check their security cameras and to report any activity that may lead to an arrest.
They’re also asking people in the area to check their security cameras to see if there’s any evidence of this crime, or could lead to the suspect(s).
