One person killed in three-vehicle accident in Kaysville

KAYSVILLE, Utah — A three-vehicle accident in Kaysville Thursday evening claimed the life of one person.
According to Kaysville Police Department, first responders were called to 480 North and Fairfield Road for an accident involving multiple vehicles around 5:15 p.m.
A press release from the Kaysville Police Department, stated one individual was transported by ambulance to an area hospital. A second individual was transported by Life Flight. However, a third occupant died at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Zachary Shumway, 24, of Kaysville.
