Man shot outside a wedding in Midvale dies

MIDVALE, Utah — A 28-year-old male has died after being shot outside a wedding in Midvale.
The victim has been identified by Unified Police as Oscar Vila, he was a guest at the wedding.
Police responded to a shooting at 145 East Ft. Union Boulevard on Saturday at around 11:26 PM, when they arrived they found Vila on the ground bleeding.
Life-saving measures were performed by wedding guests and police, but he was declared dead on the scene by the Unified Fire Authority.
Police have not identified a suspect, they are asking anyone with information to contact Unified Police at (801)840-4000.
