SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah — A couple in Jeremy Ranch had to call police early Thursday morning when they woke to find a porcupine in their home.
Officers from the Summit County Sheriff’s office said that the animal got into the home through a non-secured door.
It managed to find its way to a baby’s bedroom where it was later found underneath the crib.
Officials say sheriff’s deputies used a piece of wood and a plastic tote to remove the porcupine from the baby’s room.
No humans or animals were injured, officials said.
