A Utah Highway Patrol officer allegedly responded to a call from Fowler who said she was involved in a hit-and-run in Springville this morning.
The officer says he found her in her car and said he could smell alcohol on her breath. He conducted a field test and a breath test and found she was more than double the
legal limit.
Fowler allegedly told the officer that another driver hit her car in Salt Lake but she didn’t stop because she thought the other driver fled the scene.
The Salt Lake City Council tells KSL they plan on staying transparent as more information becomes available.
