WEST HAVEN, Utah — New information about the shooting in West Haven that happened on Wednesday has surfaced.
The Weber County Sheriff’s Office announced the identification of the victim as 50-year-old Russell Allen Evans of West Haven
Police said Dallas Martineau admitted to stalking Evans, Martineau’s brother-in-law, who went out to his back porch to smoke a cigarette. That’s when police said he was shot multiple times by Martineau.
Authorities arrived on scene and began giving aid to Evans late Wednesday night. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
