Man killed in Wednesday morning crash in Cache County

CACHE COUNTY — The Utah Highway Patrol says one man died Wednesday morning following a two-vehicle crash in Cache County.
According to a news release, the incident occurred at 7:45 a.m. The release states that a Ford F-150 was traveling southbound on SR-23 near the intersection of 4600 North.
A Polaris Ranger was heading westbound, crossing SR-23 at the same location.
The driver of the Polaris allowed the first of two vehicles to pass. It then tried to cross SR-23, but was struck by the Ford broadside. The collision caused 45-year-old driver of the Polaris to be ejected from the vehicle.
According to the release, the driver of the Polaris suffered critical injuries and passed away at the scene.
Lanes in the intersection were restricted for roughly three hours due to cleanup and investigation.
