Fatal crash closes ramp to US 89 from northbound I-15

SALT LAKE CITY — The ramp to U.S. Highway 89 from northbound Interstate 15 near Beck Street is closed due to a crash.
Sergeant Cam Roden with the Utah Highway Patrol confirmed that at least one person was killed in this crash.

Salt Lake City Police Department crews were called to the scene around 9:30 Friday morning.
Roden said they do not have a count on how many vehicles are involved in the crash and that they are still investigating. He said there could still be upcoming closures as they investigate the crash.
