Wildfire near Flaming Gorge grows to 100 acres

DAGGETT COUNTY, Utah — The Sunny Cove Fire burning near Flaming Gorge Reservoir has grown to 100 acres. Officials said that by Tuesday morning, the fire was 0% contained.
Utah Fire Info reports that Dagget County law enforcement is working with people who have vehicles at the Mustang Ridge Boat Ramp, and are escorting them into the area to get their vehicles.

The fire began Monday afternoon near Flaming Gorge Reservoir and forced the evacuation of the Mustang Campground campground.
At of 6:40 p.m. Monday night, the fire had grown to 5 acres.
Lightning is the cause of the fire, according to Utah Fire Info. There are two helicopters, three engines and two hand crews on scene.
