Police find nothing after bomb threat at Red Cliffs Mall

ST. GEORGE, Utah — The Red Cliffs Mall in St. George, Utah received a bomb threat Sunday Morning. No bomb has been found.
According to the St. George Police Department, the Red Cliffs Mall General Manager received an email making the threat at approximately 11:05 a.m.
In a post to Twitter police said the email stated that a bomb had been placed in the mall and in every mall in Utah.

The Washington County Bomb Squad responded to the threat. Through the use of three bomb dogs, the squad swept the mall. No bomb was recovered. During this time, the Red Cliffs Mall was kept closed for approximately an hour after its scheduled opening time.
This threat comes the same day as several other bomb threats made to Jewish institutions around the state.
At this time, police do not believe the bomb threat at the Red Cliffs Mall to be a creditable one.
