Bountiful woman reported missing found dead by police

BOUNTIFUL, Utah — A woman reported missing earlier this week is dead after police found her in Bountiful Friday morning.

According to a press release from the Bountiful Police Department, police received a report of an unconscious woman at approximately 8:08 a.m. They found her on Mueller Park Road, east of Bountiful Blvd.

Police have identified the woman as April Marie Bowden. According to the press release, Bowden was reported missing to the Bountiful Police Department on Jan. 31.

Authorities attempted life-saving measures. Following this, Bowden was transferred to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Police are currently investigating the death. They ask anyone with information to contact the Bountiful Police Department Investigations Division at 801-298-6000.
