Police warn about traffic delays during protest

SALT LAKE CITY — A protest at Pioneer Park in Salt Lake City had authorities warning about traffic delays Tuesday evening. About an hour later, around 8pm, SLCPD posted again on X saying that the protest was over and that there were no reports of injuries or property damage.

We are working to help ensure the safety of a group demonstrating near Pioneer Park.

The crowd size is estimated to be about 150 people.

There will be traffic delays in the area.
