LISTEN: Gold Star Wife Jennie Taylor shares the power community can hold over grief

SALT LAKE CITY — Jennie Taylor lost her husband in the line of duty in Afghanistan in 2018.
Since then, she’s got some insight into the shock and all-encompassing grief that family members deal with when they lose a loved one in this manner.
Jennie Taylor shared her perspective with KSL NewsRadio following the death of Santaquin Sgt. Bill Hooser.
Hooser was hit and killed by a semi-truck on May 5. According to police, the driver of the truck acted intentionally.
According to Taylor, the outpouring of love that comes after a loss matters. She said that experienced the power of prayers and community concern when she lost her husband.
