Two injured following Glendale Neighborhood shooting

SALT LAKE CITY — A man and a woman were hospitalized following a shooting in the Glendale Neighborhood early Sunday morning.
According to the Salt Lake City Police Department, it received reports of the shooting at 1:07 a.m. The shooting took place at 1210 W. Illinois Ave.
Upon the officer’s arrival, they found a 40-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman had both suffered gunshot wounds. They were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the shooting took place shortly after a house party. They believe the shooting is gang-related. The motive is unclear at this time.
No arrests have been made at this time.
