Boebert switched from the 3rd District to the 4th District earlier this year.

“The American people are incredibly forgiving,” he said, marking this win as a “comeback.”
Political Scientist Morgan Lyon Cotti said this also could be a case of name recognition.
“Colorado is one of those places that you’re going to see ads from candidates from other districts. For me, I’m seeing a lot of power of name I.D. as well,” she said.
Though she’s not technically an incumbent of the 4th District, she still had enough name recognition to utilize the “power of the incumbent,” Lyon Cotti added.
Jason Perry, Director of the Hinckley Institute of Politics at the University of Utah said:
“It’s such an interesting case study right here for her. She billed this as a fresh start, capitalized on the name an I.D she had, and hoped people would look at the new approach, the reinvention of herself.”
