It is 10% contained. And it’s smaller than when it was first reported. That’s thanks to better mapping, said the Utah Fire Info website.
According to reporting by KSL TV, the lightning ignited the Tangent Peak fire on Sunday, but smoke wasn’t visible until Monday.
On Tuesday there were two helicopters and 80 personnel fighting the Tangent fire, which is feeding on very dry short grass and juniper trees.
