One man dead after being hit by a dump truck in Ogden

OGDEN, Utah — Ogden Police said one man is dead after being hit by a dump truck while riding his bicycle. He has been identified as 31-year-old Charlie Hodgson.
The incident happened this morning at the intersection of Wall Ave. and 12th Street. Ogden Police said they responded at 6:18 a.m.
According to police, the dump truck driver turned east onto 12th Street and didn’t see the cyclist.
Ogden police said that an investigation is ongoing. There may be traffic delays in the area due to closed lanes.
