Babysitter charged for his alleged involvement in the death of a 4-month-old baby in Midvale

MIDVALE, Utah — The Salt Lake District Attorney has filed murder and aggravated child abuse charges against Zachary Walton, 29, for his alleged involvement in the death of a 4-month-old baby in Midvale.
Unified Police said the Midvale babysitter had become frustrated with her crying and slammed her head on the metal corner of an elevator, severely fracturing her skull.
The baby was taken off life support and died this morning.
