PARK CITY, Utah — A detour from northbound US-40 to westbound I-80 in Summit County will last for nearly a month.
The flyover ramp is closed, and will remain closed for the next three weeks.
The Utah Department of Transportation is repaving the ramp. Part of the work includes excavating the old concrete and then shipping in new road base materials.
The base material needs to be shipped in before the agency can start repaving, which will extend the detour in Summit County.
UDOT said drivers can use the traffic light at the intersection of US-40 and Silver Creek Junction to access westbound I-80.
Drivers should also add extra time into their commute, and expect more traffic flow on SR-248.
