Cedar City hosts Final Friday Art Walk

CEDAR CITY, Utah — After a summer featuring many public art events, the Cedar City Arts Council is holding this year’s Final Friday Art Walk on September 27th.
The art walk will be a free event from 5-8:00 p.m. featuring live music, art exhibits, and art demonstrations.
This Friday’s art walk will be the last event that the CCAC hosts this season.
“We have had a fantastic season and we appreciate all of the artists and musicians who provide this magical evening for all ages,” said Roger Gold, CCAC President.
During the event, multiple venues will host musical performances. These venues include the lawn at 100 West Center St., Artisans Art Gallery, the Southern Utah Museum of Art, the Johnson Art Center, the IG Winery, and Home On the Range at 97 West Center Street.
In addition to music, the Cedar Livestock & Heritage Festival Art and Photography Contest will be accepting submissions. Students from kindergarten through high school are eligible to win prizes up to $100.
Those who wish to display their art during the Final Friday Art Walk are advised to set up along the route at around 4:30 p.m.. There are no vendor fees at this event.
