DAYBREAK, Utah — One of the things many fans have loved about going to a Salt Lake Bees game is the affordability. But with the team’s move to Daybreak, some worry they could be priced out.
General Manager of the Salt Lake Bees Ty Wardle said they’re committed to making games accessible.
“The fan family price is important to us. We know we want to make it affordable for anyone that wants to come to a game.”
However, there will be changes.
Wardle said they see the new ballpark as a chance to offer experiences they couldn’t offer fans in the old location.
“That means that we’re selling tickets that include parking, food and beverage, and other cool experiences that are part of those ticket packages. So in general, some of those will be more.”
The hope is there will be something for all fans to enjoy.
“For a family of four to attend a baseball game in the summer… it is very affordable if they want to get in with just an affordable ticket. But [we] also want to offer premium experiences for those that want to enjoy that.”
Not everything is changing with the Salt Lake Bees’ move to Daybreak though. A fan favorite is making the move with the team — Salt Lake Bees mascot Bumble.
“Yes for sure, Bumble will be around. He’s core to the things that we do.”
The Bees’ first home game in their new stadium is scheduled for April 8, 2025.
