SALT LAKE CITY — Utah officials are now offering $30,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person who shot and killed a wild horse on the Onaqui Heard Management Area.
As reported by KSL.com, the horse named Glory was found shot to death on Nov. 10. Now, BLM officials believe the actual shooting happened a week earlier.

The reward was initially $2,500. However several foundations are now working together to create a larger reward.
The wild horse, known to some as Pyrite, lived on the Onaqui Herd Management Area, 60 miles southwest of Salt Lake City. The herd is named after the Onaqui Mountains.
According to a release from the BLM, Pyrite was found dead “about three miles southwest of Simpson Springs in Tooele County, south of the Dugway Proving Grounds.”
