Driver in critical condition after crashing into another car, police say

TOOELE, Utah — A driver is in critical condition after crashing his car into another vehicle near Garden St and Utah Ave in Tooele.

According to Sgt. Joshua Curtis with the Tooele City Police Department, a white Buick sedan ran into a gray Town & Country van. Then it ran through a stop sign and a telephone pole.

The driver of the sedan was a 47-year-old male. He was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

The incident is still under investigation.
