Body of Army sergeant who died in Afghanistan returns to US

SALT LAKE CITY — The body of Army Sgt. 1st Class Elliott J. Robbins has returned to the United States.
The 31-year-old man from Ogden died on Sunday in Afghanistan in an incident the Pentagon said was not related to combat.
Robbins casket arrived at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware yesterday and was escorted into a waiting van by an Army team.
Governor Gary Herbert announced Monday that both the US and Utah state flag will be flown at half-staff on the day in the funeral.
Funeral plans are unknown at the time of writing.
Robbins is survived by his wife and infant son.
