New terminal and new airline at Provo City Airport

PROVO, Utah — There’s a new four-gate terminal for travelers using the Provo City Airport, and now Breeze Airways to choose when flying out of Provo.

The new terminal is 75,000 square feet. And along with the new terminal, Breeze Airways announced they will provide daily service out of Provo. They’ll provide five destinations including nonstops to Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.  

“We’re excited to continue I growing and hiring from here, and now flying from here, said Breeze Founder and CEO David Neeleman. 

Breeze is the second airline flying into Provo City Airport. They join Allegiant which began operations in April, 2022. 

The new $55 million terminal was made possible by combined government funding from the Federal Aviation Administration, the state of Utah, Utah County, and Provo City. 

“By investing in vital infrastructure, we created economic opportunity for Provo rather than waiting for it,” said Provo Mayor Michelle Kaufusi. “The community economic benefits are substantial, with each new roundtrip daily destination bringing an estimated $15 million into our local, regional, and state economy.
