Traffic Update: Mountain View Corridor Hwy

SALT LAKE CITY — Mountain View Corridor Highway is close Northbound. Northbound traffic is being detoured at Real Vista Drive and 14820 South. For an alternative route in the area take Academy Parkway to Rose Crest Road.
Law enforcement have confirmed the crash in Herriman involving a vehicle and a pedestrian turned out fatal for victim.
Officers confirmed the 911 call came from the driver of the truck who wasn’t sure what he had hit. When he got out of the truck he realized he hit a woman. Police said the woman is between 25-35 years old.
The crash on NB Mtn View Corridor is at Real Vista Drive. But emergency crews are setting up a diversion area just south of that at Academy Drive. pic.twitter.com/PCFCS58Q6G
