Woman found in Box Elder Creek pronounced dead

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah — A woman found unresponsive by police in Box Elder Creek was pronounced dead at a hospital on Tuesday.

Brigham City police said they were called to a residence to investigate a possible missing woman.

After a search of the area, police said a woman was found in Box Elder Creek. She was unresponsive.

She was transported to a hospital and was pronounced dead.

Police suspect the woman is around 70 years of age.
