“Mrs. Diede creates an exceptional atmosphere in her classroom. She cares about and respects her students, they know this, and in return respect her and one another. She offers additional STEM projects and provides creative opportunities for her students to lead out in their learning. My son has been reluctant to attend school at times, but this year he looks forward to Mrs Diede’s class. He says she is kind and teaches them “life lessons” (if she makes a mistake she explains how everyone makes mistakes, it’s ok and to keep trying). My son has been able to help tutor classmates, be part of a class book club and, of course, enjoys treats and small prizes for certain accomplishments.”
