“Mrs. Tarrant is not only phenomenal in teaching fundamental vocal skills through technique warm-ups and sight reading practices, but she also makes her students love choir and music. She not only maintains an effective learning environment by enforcing a reasonable amount of discipline, but also demonstrates willingness to personally assist students who are struggling. She knows and loves all of her students as individuals, and I feel an immediate sense of relief as I walk into her room because I know I’m entering an environment where I can be myself and be loved for it. She is constantly expressing her love for both her job and her students, and encourages us to show that same love for each other.
She is undoubtedly one of the most hard-working and resilient people I know. She is often under a lot of pressure, but handles it with a joke and smile, saying it will all be worth it in the end.
Mrs. Tarrant is one of the most incredible people I have ever met, I recommend her without hesitation!”
