Millcreek man found dead with gunshot wound, 5 detained released by police

MILLCREEK — Unified police are investigating what led to the death of a Millcreek man who was found by police on Sunday afternoon.

UPD said officers were dispatched to a reported death at the Revolve Apartments. When police arrived, they found Dominik Philip, 29, dead with a gunshot wound.

UPD’s Violent Crimes Unit was called to the scene to process the situation, and five people were detained for questioning. On Monday, UPD said all five had been released.

“The Unified Police Department extends its deepest condolences to those affected by this tragedy,” the department said in a press release.

UHP said there was no evidence to indicate there is an immediate ongoing threat to public safety.
