“Ashley started her teaching career at Alpine Elementary, teaching 4th grade. That same year, many of her students and their parents attended her wedding, including Dale Murphy. She earned her Master’s of Education during her first year of teaching. Then, she moved on to Cedar Ridge Elementary in Orem, then Cascade Elementary in Orem. While at Cascade Elementrary, Ashley was chosen to be in charge of the dancing portion of Hope of America. Then, she taught at Jones Elementary in Oklahoma, and was the music specialist for grades K-5th. She taught at Perry Elementary in Iowa as well. After all her elementary school experience, she started teaching at the collegiate level, and started teaching online classes at William Penn University, and was an adminstrator there as well. She also taught at Utah Valley University (UVU), and started with a diversity class, in which students from around the world loved her class and cherished her friendship. She has also taught online at Provo College, and performed administrative duties there as well. Ashley has been a mentor for many teachers starting online classes, and personally taken the time help them with technology, all while teaching her own classes and taking care of her family. Ashley has achieved all this while having and raising four kids, and maintaining their active schedules.”
