“My grandson has struggled in reading. This year he has done amazing. He just tested above grade level. Not only was his speed good, he had 98% accuracy, and 60 retell. Mrs. Shaffer is not only a positive teacher who constantly encourages her students, but challenges them to do better. He said to me one day Mrs. Shaffer is reading to us the book Wild Robot, and every one says it’s a good book to read. Of course I bought it and we read the whole series. She even commented I think this book is what got him interested in reading. She is awesome, I’d love to see her receive the recognition she deserves.”
