Warhola sentenced to 2010 murders of her two young children

SALT LAKE CITY — Sun Cha Warhola, a Layton mom convicted of killing her two young children in 2010, was sentenced in court Monday.
Warhola, 58, took a plea deal after she was accused of strangling and killing her two children, James, 8, and Jean Marie, 7, inside their home on Sept. 8, 2010.
On June 3, 2024, she pleaded guilty “with a mental condition” to two counts of first-degree felony murder.
On Monday, Warhola was ordered to serve two sentences of 15 years to life in prison concurrently.
