“If anyone was to say, “Oh she is just a preschool teacher, preschool is optional and doesn’t matter much.” They would be wrong! Mrs. Hill brings a love and warmth to the classroom that everyone of her students and also the parents feel. She takes time to make sure she really knows each child and what their individual needs are. A lot of her preschool students have special needs in one way or another and she accommodates, fights for, and makes each one of them feel like they are her favorite student! On more than one occasion I sat in her office crying wondering how to handle my son and she always listened with love, and often times had tears in her eyes as we worked on a plan together to help him. She has the students put on a Christmas play each year and she gets right in there with them and dances and sings. In May for Preschool Graduation she taught them all to sing Sweet Child of Mine by Gun’s n Roses. I never thought I could tear up to that song! Any child who gets the honor to have Krisell as their teacher will be set up for life with not only their education, but also feeling the love that a teacher can give.”
