“She is the most giving soul and she loves her students so more. I’ve seen her navigate and adapt teaching a blind student (the IEP took forever to come through), help students that other teachers gave up on, plan surprises for her students, and meticulously plan and go out of her way to make learning fun for her 5th graders (that’s a hard age, by the way).
She is also the only income in her household as she supports her husband who was laid off of work, and her preschooler and toddler. They recently adopted a teenager as well, and the husband losing his job has just complicated things financially for the family. She is always looking after everyone and it would be amazing if she felt appreciated and supported by her community. She does a lot for so many people. She is resilient, patient, strong, caring, diligent and just all around an exceptional human being. Her super power is making every student she comes in contact with feel like they are capable of achieving their dreams.”

“She cares about every single one of the kids. She is truly amazing and she has a big heart ❤️”
