Local Boy Scout Owen Waldron is holding a blood drive in honor of his brother Bryson’s Hodgkin’s Lymphoma cancer recovery.
Owen joins Maria Shilaos to explain the motivations for his Eagle Scout service project and why his brother’s journey has inspired him so much.
The blood drive will be held on Jan. 9 from 1-7 p.m. at 1845 East 7200 South in Cottonwood Heights. If you’d like to sign up to donate blood, call 801-584-5272 or visit utahblood.org. Owen will also be collecting children’s blankets and hats for Primary Children’s Hospital cancer patients.
