Fire starts in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY — Fire crews were on scene in Salt Lake City where a fire erupted on Sunday.
The Salt Lake City Fire Department asked the public to avoid the area near 847 S. 200 West, where crews were working.
The fire department said firefighters were able to get a handle on the fire minutes before 1 p.m.
“Please continue avoiding the area and plan for an alternate route if traveling through the area,” the fire department said.
