SALT LAKE CITY — Happy birthday, America. The land of the free, home of the brave — and most importantly — the home of the best food deals on either side of the Mississippi.

To celebrate the nation’s semiquincentennial, fast-food chains from coast to coast are rolling out a red, white and blue wave of freebies and patriotic discounts.

If you want to celebrate the land of the free without breaking the bank, here is where you can find the best birthday bargains.

Arby’s

Arby’s is offering its sliders for $1.99 in restaurants, online and in-app. Slider options include buffalo chicken, ham, chicken and roast beef.

Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay

From July 1 through July 4, Bobby’s Burgers by Bobby Flay is serving up the Palace Classic Burger for $7.04 in celebration of America’s birthday. The burger features a 6-ounce certified Angus beef patty, American cheese, pickles, lettuce, tomato and Bobby’s Sauce.

Burger King

Burger King is celebrating America’s historic breakup with a different king by handing out $2.50 Whopper Jr.’s to loyalty members on July 4. Royalty Perks members can get the deal on the app or website, according to People.

Chicken Salad Chick

On July 3 and 4, Chicken Salad Chick is offering two large Quick Chicks for $17.76 as part of its limited-time promotion, according to The Freebie Guy.

Corner Bakery Cafe

Corner Bakery Cafe is offering individual bakery items for $2.50 throughout July at participating locations. The deal covers fresh-baked goods like brownies, bars, cookies, muffins, croissants, baby Bundts, cinnamon creme cake slices and cinnamon rolls. The chain is also offering $50 off any purchase of $250 or more, according to The Freebie Guy.

Dairy Queen

Dairy Queen is debuting a new Stars and Stripes Misty Slush Float this year. A small size is available for $2.50 from June 29 through July 5, according to The Freebie Guy. The festive float features layers of DQ Cherry Misty slush, soft-serve ice cream and blue raspberry Misty slush topped with festive star sprinkles.

Del Taco

Del Taco is bringing back its Independence Poppers drinks and Funnel Cake Fries available for $2.50.

Denny’s

Now through Aug. 18, Denny’s is running an America 250 menu. The lineup features a Red, White and Berry Float made with vanilla ice cream, strawberry sauce, blueberries and Sprite. For delivery only, the chain is offering a Spicy All-American Burrito packed with jalapeños and salsa. From July 4-7, rewards members signed up for text messages can snag 50% off the Red, White and Berry Float.

Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

What’s more American than backyard barbecue? Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is celebrating the nation’s birthday by offering $5 off online or in-app orders of $25 or more with the code “FIREWORKS.” Hungry families can also get $15 off orders of $75 or more using the code “JULY1776,” according to an email shared with the Deseret News. The offer runs from July 2 through July 5.

Dunkin’

Dunkin’ has launched 11 limited-time Fourth of July drinks alongside a Rocket Pop Donut, Stars & Stripes Donut and Stars & Stripes Munchkins. Starting June 29, guests can grab a limited-edition, $10.99 Eagle Cup. The purchase includes a free medium beverage plus a promo code for a $3 medium Refresher or Dunkin’ Zero beverage every day for 30 days.

Firehouse Subs

From June 29 through July 4, Firehouse Subs guests can buy one small or medium sub and get a second for $2.50. The offer does not include the Steak and Cheese Melt and Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket subs, per The Krazy Coupon Lady.

Golden Corral

Golden Corral guests can upgrade to a limited-edition America 250 Big Cup for $20 on July 4 at locations nationwide, according to The Freebie Guy.

Grubhub

Grubhub is celebrating America’s birthday all week long with a slate of different delivery deals, according to an email shared with the Deseret News.

  • Burger King: BOGO Whopper Jr. with a minimum $15 purchase.
  • Shake Shack: Free Bacon Cheeseburger with a minimum $25 purchase.
  • KFC: Buy one two-piece Chicken Combo, get one free with a minimum $15 purchase.
  • Primo Hoagies: $15 off a purchase of $50 or more.

Jack in the Box

In celebration of Independence Day, Jack in the Box is offering Jack Pack Rewards members a free fry with any in-app purchase of $1 or more from July 3-5. The deal is limited to a single use, according to The Krazy Coupon Lady.

Krispy Kreme

From July 2 through July 5, guests can buy an Original Glazed dozen for just $2.50 with the purchase of any regular-priced dozen or 16-count Minis. Use the promo code “USA” during online or in-app checkout (limit one per order) or redeem in-shop and at the drive-thru (limited two per guest), according to The Krazy Coupon Lady.

Krispy Kreme is also rolling out a specialty patriotic lineup: the USA Donut, the Firework Donut and the Freedom Ring Donut. Plus, anyone who wears red, white and blue into a shop can receive a free Original Glazed Donut with no purchase necessary (limit one per guest), according to The Freebie Guy.

MilkShake Factory

On July 4, MilkShake Factory customers can buy one, get one free when ordering from the limited-time American Classics menu. According to The Krazy Coupon Lady, the lineup includes All-American Apple Pie, Root Beer Float, Southern Banana Pudding, Confetti Birthday Cake, Strawberry Shortcake Sundae and a Classic Chocolate Malt. The themed menu is available through Sept. 13.

Nothing Bundt Cakes

Nothing Bundt Cakes is celebrating with patriotic seasonal flavors and Fireworks and Freedom Bundtini toppers through July 19. Bundtastic Rewards members can also earn 250 bonus points on any purchase made July 3 through July 5 when logged into their account, according to The Freebie Guy.

Rita’s Italian Ice

Rita’s 4th of Gelati is back. The patriotic treat features five layers of blue Italian ice, vanilla frozen custard and red Italian ice topped off with firecracker glitter topping. Rewards members who buy the treat in-app can earn double loyalty punches from June 29 through July 5, per The Krazy Coupon Lady.

Sonic

To celebrate the big 250, Sonic is dropping a limited-time $2.50 menu featuring an All-American 6-inch hot dog, medium onion rings, a Jr. double cheeseburger and a red, white and blue slush float. The discount applies automatically at checkout online, in the app or at the drive-thru. The offer runs through July 12 while supplies last, according to The Krazy Coupon Lady.

Sonic is also offering a 20-ounce red, white and blue slush float served in limited-edition cups for $2.50 all summer long, according to The Freebie Guy.
