Firefighters respond to fire near Fear Factory

SALT LAKE CITY — A fire that broke out near Fear Factory Wednesday evening is under control, as fire crews responded to the scene.

In a post on X, the Salt Lake City Fire Department said the incident happened near the Fear Factory at 666 W. 800 South.

SLCFD said the fire is “under control” and did not extend into the Fear Factory itself. The fire was confined to a couple of outbuildings on the property and some trees near the train tracks. No injuries have been reported.

There were three people reported on the scene. SLCFD said they found those three people and accounted for them.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
