Wrong-way driver arrested for DUI

ROY, Utah – Shortly after beginning their shift at around 6 a.m., a Roy Police Officer saw a vehicle headed West in the East-bound lanes near 1100 W.
The officer attempted to stop vehicle, but the driver did not pull over. After following in pursuit, the driver pulled over near 1900 W.
The driver had open containers of alcohol in the car and failed the Field Sobriety Test’s issued by the officer.
The adult male driver was taken into custody by police.
