SALT LAKE CITY — A car crash near Big Water in Kane County left two people dead on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, US-89 was closed in both directions at mile marker 6 following the deadly crash. It was reopened at around 8:19 p.m.

Sgt. Mike Alexander with the Utah Highway Patrol confirmed two fatalities related to the crash. No additional information has been released regarding the fatalities.
