Willow Springs Fire burns over 350 acres in Box Elder County

TOOELE, Utah — Three wildfires in northern Utah prompted some evacuation orders on Wednesday. The Willow Springs Fire in Box Elder County burned two non-residential structures and grew to over 350 acres throughout the afternoon.
Update, the Willow Springs Fire is now mapped and partially contained:

Willow Springs Fire in Box Elder County
A fire in Box Elder County led to some home evacuations east of Promitory. The fire has closed East Promontory Road.
Utah Fire Info said the Willow Springs Fire was located west of Promitory.
Kayli Guild with the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands said the fire was affecting over 350 acres. Guild said the fire had burned two structures in the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources’ bighorn sheep nursery.
Utah Fire Info said the fire was caused by humans.

South Willow Fire in Tooele County
The South Willow Fire in Tooele County on Wednesday led to an evacuation order for North Willow Canyon. The order was lifted after several hours. The North Tooele Fire District said anyone there were still firefighting personnel in the area.
Utah Fire Info said estimated that the South Willow Fire was at 40 acres.

Rudd Fire in Davis County
The Rudd Fire in Davis County is burning on the south side of Farmington Canyon. Utah Fire Info estimated that the Rudd Fire was affecting 4 acres.

The City of Farmington asked Utahns to stop reporting the fire so it could keep emergency lines open.
