2-townhome fire displaces families in Saratoga Springs

SALT LAKE CITY — Two families were displaced after a two-townhome fire in Saratoga Springs on Friday afternoon. There were no injuries.
By 6 p.m., the Saratoga Springs Fire Department said the blaze was under control, but that crews were working to contain hot spots.
A spokesperson said the fire had been burning on Freeman Drive in the Mount Saratoga neighborhood.
The northbound lanes on Mount Saratoga Blvd. were closed from Skyline Drive to the Cory B. Wride Memorial Highway.
Residents were asked to avoid the area.
