All clear given at the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake, no bomb found

SALT LAKE CITY — Patients and staff are being allowed back into the VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, hours after a bomb threat was phoned into the hospital.
A VA spokesperson on the scene told KSL that no bomb was bomb was found at the Salt Lake VA hospital.
Earlier Thursday afternoon, the emergency department and nearby areas at Salt Lake City’s VA Medical Center were evacuated.
Around 1:30 p.m., they’d received a telephone threat to the George E. Wahlen Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
Officers and bomb-sniffing dogs swept the building. The VA said there were no injuries reported.
